Qualifications

• Master's in Biology or related field preferred; or Bachelor's in Biology with 6+ years experience
• Teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for diverse groups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies (LMS, online tools)
• Familiarity with a breadth and depth of technologies for classes

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 14 contact hours of general biology courses
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching and interact with diverse student and employee population
• Hold reliable, student-accessible office hours
• Participate in advising, mentoring, curriculum development, student recruitment, and faculty meetings
