Job summary

SUNY Sullivan is seeking part-time (adjunct) didactic nursing faculty to teach in the Nursing Department. This role involves delivering the curriculum, supporting student development, and contributing to ongoing pedagogy.

Openings cover day, evening, or weekend classes; reporting to the Director of Nursing; New York nursing license required; BSN with MSN aspirational. Experience with online teaching is valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Professional Nurse License.
• BSN with intent to obtain MSN; clinical teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with instructional technology for online portions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience teaching in an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach the required nursing curriculum.
• Provide instruction, assessment, and mentorship.
• Develop curriculum with the Director of Nursing Programs.
• Maintain attendance and grades per college policies.
• Hold regular open office hours; in person, by phone, or via Zoom.
