Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Bioinformatics Analyst I in Seattle to provide consulting and data analysis for researchers across the Hutch and the UW/Fred Hutch Cancer Consortium. You will work independently, manage multiple demands, and communicate results to faculty and staff in biology and data science.

Qualifications

• BS in Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of bioinformatics work experience in relevant science domain.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, R) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis on data from clinical trials.
• Develop and apply statistics, bioinformatics, and machine learning approaches on high-dimensional biomarker data.
• Develop statistical software, such as an R Shiny tool.
