Job summary

The Archway is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Client Advocate to support shelter residents and help ensure their safety with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living needs, conducting intake assessments, and maintaining the client database.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or sociology (or six months of relevant experience) and are fluent in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology preferred or six months of experience in a residential facility, shelter, or similar environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist shelter residents with daily living needs and provide general support to ensure safety of residents, staff, and building.
• Provide shelter coverage and intake assessments, orientation for residents, and maintain client database.
• Prepare rooms for new residents and conduct safety checks.
