Job summary

The Archway is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to lead the Client Service Center in our Texas shelter program. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure compassionate support for clients and callers.

You will work closely with the Hotline Coordinator, manage referrals, and prepare monthly reports while safeguarding confidential information. A Bachelor's degree or 5 years related experience plus supervisory background are required; Spanish helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• 6 months to 1-year experience in a 24-hour hotline or residential setting.
• Candidates must have knowledge of family violence and respond in a constructive and supportive way.
• Must remain calm in a crisis and maintain confidentiality.
• Previous work in fast-paced customer service preferred.
• Must have a Texas driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
• Spanish language skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all Client Service Center staff and volunteers.
• Schedule staff and volunteers for the 24-hour Resident Service Center in the shelter.
• Collaborate with the Hotline Coordinator to streamline processes between hotline and shelter intake.
• Provide cross-training for client advocates for the 24-hour emergency hotline.
• Develop and submit monthly departmental reports and staff time sheets.
• Troubleshoot and manage challenges with community providers (e.g., taxi companies, police).
• Maintain current referrals list for staff to share with clients and callers.
• Manage personnel issues and guide employee performance in collaboration with supervision.
• Monitor file documentation and CaseWorthy entry for grant compliance and service delivery.
