Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Lead Therapist to join our faith-driven team, providing direct therapy, coordinating intake, and supervising staff across programs nationwide. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, state licensure, and strong clinical skills to guide treatment and compliance.

You will mentor interns, write intake/closing reports, support budget goals, and ensure audits and contracts are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years clinical employment in the behavioral sciences.
• Master’s degree in social work or related field with two years direct service experience.
• Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the state where the care provider is located.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Excellent clinical, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake and referrals, assign cases fairly.
• Provide direct therapy to clients.
• Write intakes, reports and closings per unit expectations.
• Provide psychosocial assessments when required.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and audits.
