Job summary

Bethany Christian Services USA LLC in Reading, PA is seeking a Lead Therapist for a part-time role of 6 hours per week. This position requires bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, a master’s degree in social work or clinical psychology, and state licensure to practice.

You will supervise intake and referrals, provide direct therapy, write intakes and reports, ensure contract compliance and assist with budget goals while supporting a faith-based mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years clinical employment in behavioral sciences.
• Master’s degree in social work with two years direct service postgrad, or equivalent in psychology/sociology plus two years of direct service.
• Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide clinical services in the state.
• Ability to conduct crisis intervention and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake and referrals; ensure fair case assignments.
• Perform case assessment, provide treatment, supervise ongoing service, and close cases.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients.
• Write intakes, reports and closings according to unit expectations.
• Provide psychosocial assessments when required; submit reports per policy.
• Provide consultation to other units and ensure contract compliance.
• Assist with budget creation and adherence for counseling.
• Supervise staff and interns; participate in team and community meetings.
