Zusammenfassung

Community Council Of Idaho Inc is hiring a part-time GED instructor in Idaho. The role involves preparing lessons, guiding adult students, and coordinating GED testing with local institutions. You will use audiovisuals, maintain schedules, and document student progress while working with the HEP team.

The position is less than 30 hours per week, with no benefits. Qualifications include an associate degree in education or higher, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and experience with adult

Qualifikationen

Associate degree with emphasis in education is required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Adult Education, or related field preferred.
Ability to read, speak, and write English and Spanish in a business setting.
Experience with adult migrant and seasonal farmworker populations.
Experience presenting/instructing in a classroom or similar setting.
Pass a background check.

Aufgaben

Administer GED education content, information, guidance, and exam prep.
Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities and schedule per student need.
Observe students to determine qualifications, limitations, and interests.
Document students’ academic skills and development and assess per standards.
Submit reports, attendance, test scores, and transcripts in a timely manner.
Refer students to ESL classes and remedial programs as needed.
