Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a part-time Early Childhood Care & Education Instructor for Spanish Language Students at the Whitfield Murray Campus. The role requires on-campus presence with travel to other campuses as needed, reporting to the Dean of Business and Public Service Technologies.

The instructor will develop course outlines, prepare lesson plans, evaluate student progress, and ensure safety and compliance in the training area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Early Childhood Ed/Child Development or Master’s in Education required.
• Work or teaching experience in field.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives.
• Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress toward goals and objectives.
• Maintains documentation and required reports; manages supplies and budgets as applicable.
• Ensures safety and security in the training area.
• Meets with students and staff to discuss instructional programs.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
