Job summary

Venture Community Services Inc. is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Specialist to support individuals in day habilitation and residential programs. The role focuses on behavioral and clinical functions, working closely with the Clinical Supervisor, staff, and management.

Compensation is hourly, with a sign-on bonus and flexible schedule. The position requires developing and implementing behavior plans, data collection, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure safe, person-centered

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
Preferred three years of professional level experience in ABA/relevant field and intellectual disabilities/autism.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized behavior plans and train staff.
Collaborate with BCBAs, House Managers, Program Directors, guardians, and DDS Service Coordinators.
Review data and interpret it before changing behavior plans.
Conduct functional behavior assessments using interviews and observation.
Initiate baseline data tracking for new behaviors and provide staff instructions.
Develop transition plans for new referrals.
Complete ISP behavioral assessments as per schedule.
