ChristianaCare is seeking a Part Time Behavioral Health Associate to support the emergency department and medical units with patient care plans and safety initiatives. The role requires collaboration with care teams and adherence to least-restrictive intervention strategies. The position is based at Union Hospital - Cecil County Campus, Maryland, with day/evening shifts from 9:00 a.m.

to 9:30 p.m. and every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• B.S. Psychology, Sociology, Education or related discipline is required.
• A.S. Mental Health Services or related principle with nursing educational group experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with health care professionals on patient treatment and care plans.
• Promote patient and staff safety through early intervention and minimizing restraints.
• Support behavioral health care in the emergency department and on medical units.
