ChristianaCare is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Associate to support the emergency departments and medical units. The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians on treatment plans and discharge planning, with a focus on safety and de‑escalation strategies.

The position is based at Union Hospital - Cecil County Campus, Maryland, with day/evening shifts (9:00 am–9:30 pm) and alternating weekends/holidays. Prior nursing education experience is valued, along with relevant degrees.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related discipline.
• 1 year experience in nursing educational groups.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with health care professionals on patient treatment, diagnoses, plans of care, behavioral plans of care, discharge plans, and related information.
• Promote patient and staff safety through early intervention using least restrictive measures and reduce restraints and seclusions.
