Job summary

Union Hospital of Cecil County, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health unit for a 24-hour per week schedule, night shifts with rotation day shifts and weekends per department guidelines.

Behavioral Health (Psych) nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is required; crisis-area knowledge is strongly preferred, with two years of acute med/surg experience and BLS.

• Crisis-area knowledge strongly preferred.
• Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for behavioral health patients in a 24-hour week schedule.
• Rotate night shifts with day shifts and weekends per department guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Document care and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
