Job summary

First Children Services in Pottstown, PA is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to implement individualized treatment plans under supervision. You will work 1:1 with clients across varied settings, collect data, and support positive behavioral outcomes.

During training, BT/RBTs gain flexible schedules and diverse clinical experience; post-training you’ll be assigned permanent placements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
• 1 year minimum of working with children
• Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
• Willingness to accept and implement feedback
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
• 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes
