Job summary

Butterfly Effects is hiring Child Interventionists/Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Chesapeake, VA. The part-time role offers 12–20 hours weekly and a pathway to become an RBT or BCBA with our subsidized training.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications. A tablet or laptop is required for sessions and reliable transportation is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under BCBA guidance.
• Observes and reports client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles in all interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents and analysts.
• Works as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data notes online.
• Participates in ongoing training to grow skills.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows BE policies.
