Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dedicated Childcare Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The part-time role follows the school calendar and offers morning and/or afternoon shifts with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising staff and children, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE/Child Development or related plus 1 year of child care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/related plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate’s degree in ECE/Child Development or related plus 3 years of experience working with children under 13.
• Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in ECE/Child Development or related plus 4 years of experience working with children under 13.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
• Lead engaging activities and supervise children and staff, including playground oversight
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling
• Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
• Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App
