Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECE development and CT standards.
• Warm and nurturing personality.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
• May access protected health information (PHI) to perform duties.
• Experience in Pre-school settings preferred.
• Compliance with licensing and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Teacher in daily classroom supervision and activities.
• Support outdoor play and safe, healthy environment using positive discipline.
• Assist in development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculums.
• Record attendance and lunch counts; assist with CACFP/USDA reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of child and family information.
• Supervise a group of children and manage classroom visitors.
• Assist with drills and safety procedures and maintain materials.
