Catapult Learning, Inc. in Elizabeth, NJ seeks an Assistant Teacher for before- and after-school programs, including summer programming. The role supports classroom operations, student engagement, and supervision to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining organization, communicating with families and staff, and participating in required trainings. Part-time schedule aligns with before and after care hours.

Formación

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Para Pro Certificate preferred.
• Pediatric/CPR First Aid Certification required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Support child engagement, classroom organization, and daily program activities.
• Provide consistent supervision to ensure safety and well-being of all students.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment promoting pro-social behavior.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Assist with mandated trainings and meetings as required.
