Job summary

Ritz Craft Commercial (RC2) seeks an experienced business development prospector for a part-time, 1099 independent contractor role to identify and cultivate new project opportunities within targeted markets. Remote work with a dedicated home office, 20 hours per week, flexible schedule, and a focus on building relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in business development, sales, construction, or real estate.
• Existing network in construction and development community.
• Ability to articulate modular construction value proposition.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally with a valid driver's license.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective clients and projects.
• Develop relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
• Conduct outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking events, and industry associations.
• Schedule introductory meetings, presentations, and facility tours.
• Monitor project leads and upcoming bid opportunities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Provide weekly reports regarding prospect activity, market intelligence, and competitive insights.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking functions.
