Job summary

Ritz-Craft Commercial (RC2) is seeking an experienced New Business Development Consultant to identify and cultivate new project opportunities. This part-time, 1099 contract role focuses on generating qualified leads, developing industry relationships, and creating opportunities within targeted market sectors in the modular construction space.

The ideal candidate has existing relationships in construction, development, architecture, engineering, or real estate, with a proven ability to open doors

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business development, sales, construction, real estate, or related experience.
• Knowledge of modular construction and ability to articulate its value proposition.
• Strong network within the construction and development community.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license, for occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective clients and projects.
• Develop relationships with developers, owners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
• Conduct outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking events, and industry associations.
• Schedule introductory meetings, presentations, and facility tours.
• Monitor project leads and upcoming bid opportunities.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Provide weekly reports regarding prospect activity, market intelligence, and competitive insights.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking functions.
