Job summary

Texas A&M University-Texarkana is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach (Part-Time) to support the head coach with team administration, practice sessions, conditioning, and student-athlete progress. The role includes recruiting, travel coordination, scheduling, maintaining recruiting databases, and ensuring compliance with NAIA and NCAA rules.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and coaching/playing experience; valid vehicle license; ability to travel and work hours beyond standard

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year coaching and playing experience at high school, collegiate or higher level.
• Experience with NAIA and NCAA rules and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with routine administrative responsibilities for the program.
• Provide instruction and coaching to student-athletes during practices and games.
• Recruit and scout prospective student-athletes from various institutions.
• Coordinate team travel, schedules, and recruiting databases.
• Ensure compliance with NAIA and NCAA guidelines and maintain rosters.
