Job summary

Pellissippi State Community College is seeking an Asst. Baseball Coach/Recruiter (part-time) to assist the head coach in daily operations, recruitment, practice organization, and fundraising. This role supports student-athletes academically and athletically while representing the program in the local community.

The position requires a high school diploma (associate or bachelor’s preferred), flexible evenings/weekends, and a commitment to NJCAA standards. Hardin Valley Road campus, Knoxville area.

Qualifications

• High-school graduate, associate's degree or bachelor's preferred, and other coaching qualifications.
• Prefer at least one year of baseball coaching experience.
• Experience recruiting student-athletes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with daily operations, recruiting, practice organization, camps and fundraising.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for home and away games including hotels and transportation.
• Assist in film breakdown and opponent scouting; develop scouting reports and manage video uploads.
• Present for all games and scrimmages, including away games.
• Support student-athlete academic monitoring and classroom performance.
• Engage in community involvement to promote the program.
