Job summary

Dean College seeks an Assistant Coach for the Baseball team to support the head coach with program management, practice planning, recruitment, player development, and competition strategy implementation for the NCAA Division III Baseball program at Dean College. This is a 10-month, part-time, non-exempt position paying $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and/or coaching certification is preferred.
• Collegiate playing experience and 3–5 years as an assistant coach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the sport training and instructional program under the direction of the head coach.
• Recruit prospective student‑athletes effectively as assigned by the head coach.
• Serve as a liaison with academic support personnel in support of players' academic efforts.
• Coordinate with athletic training and strength/conditioning staff to support conditioning and rehabilitation.
• Aid with administrative tasks, including fundraising and community service activities.
• Additional responsibility as assigned or required.
