Job summary

BAC seeks a part-time cook for Patrick Space Force Base, Riverside Dining, to prepare a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and safety. The role reports to the site leadership team and requires the ability to work harmoniously in a team and follow instructions.

Key duties include cooking using a range of procedures, coordinating multiple items so they are ready at the same time, and adhering to established safety and housekeeping procedures.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Use a full range of cooking procedures to prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces and gravies.
• Prepare multiple menu items for one meal with planning and coordination so all items are ready to serve together.
• Keep the Shift Supervisor or Cook II informed of overall work operation.
