Job summary

BAC at Patrick Space Force Base: Riverside Dining is seeking a cook to perform duties in an efficient and effective manner. Reports to the site leadership team.

Responsibilities include using a full range of cooking procedures, preparing meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces and gravies, and coordinating multiple menu items so everything is ready to serve at the same time. The role emphasizes teamwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required
• Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Use a full range of quality cooking procedures from common and frequently used new or difficult recipes. Prepare a variety of meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and gravies.
• On a day-to-day basis prepare multiple menu items for one meal which involve planning and coordination steps to ensure that all items are ready for serving at the same time.
• Keep Shift Supervisor or Cook II informed of overall work operation (e.g., activities, progress, delays).
• Assure established safety and housekeeping procedures are followed by all workers on shift.
