Job summary

Stonebridge in Seattle is seeking a part-time Bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during shifts and events. You will set up the bar, stock supplies, and maintain a clean, safe service area while engaging guests with friendly service.

You will handle cash and payments via POS systems, monitor responsible beverage service, and collaborate with the Bar Manager on inventory and stock control. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing and serving techniques.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments using POS systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• TIPS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Mix, pour, and serve beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Set up and stock the bar with beverages, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bar area.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow safety guidelines.
• Provide friendly, professional guest service.
• Process guest payments using POS systems accurately.
• Restock supplies as needed during shifts.
• Handle cash and credit transactions per outlet procedures.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages to Bar Manager.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and clean equipment.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
