Job summary

Raines Company is seeking an experienced Bartender for The Foundry Hotel Asheville. In this part-time position, you will create and serve a variety of beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a high-end environment. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of cocktail making, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail making and mixology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and making menu recommendations.
• Ensure all drinks are made to the highest standard of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Monitor and restock inventory to prevent shortages and waste.
• Comply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Adhere to all hotel and food and beverage policies and procedures.
