Job summary

The Holiday Inn Houma is seeking a part-time Bartender to manage the bar setup and drink preparation for guests and servers. You will maintain bar cleanliness, ensure quality service, and monitor liquor inventory while upholding hotel standards.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, flexible hours, and prior bartending experience is helpful. Legal age to serve alcohol is required by state law.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a related field preferred.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, according to local state laws.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and proper grooming, including uniform and nametag.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to standards for mixing, portion control and presentation.
• Process guest checks and handle cash/credit transactions per standards.
• Stock and clean glassware and ensure bar area remains clean and tidy.
