Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Bartender to deliver attentive beverage service for weddings, galas, and corporate events. You will set up banquet bars, prepare cocktails, stock supplies, and ensure compliance with responsible service standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years of banquet or high-volume bartending experience, strong guest service skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of previous banquet or high-volume bartending experience.
• Strong guest service and hospitality skills.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for banquet events while delivering exceptional, personalized guest service.
• Set up, stock, and maintain banquet bars, ensuring all supplies, garnishes, and equipment are event-ready.
• Accurately process beverage orders and maintain compliance with responsible alcohol service standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with banquet staff and event teams to ensure seamless execution of weddings, corporate functions, galas, and special events.
• Monitor bar inventory throughout events, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
