Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Arlington Rosslyn Key Bridge is seeking a Part-Time / On-Call Bartender to create memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, take and prepare beverage orders, and ensure compliance with brand standards while maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere.

Applicants should have bartending experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. The role involves lifting, standing for long periods, and daily operating of a hotel bar environment.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible availability.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or ability to obtain certification.
• Must have one or more years of bartending experience or Bartender certification.
• Demonstrated exemplary customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to speak, understand, and write English.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Physically able to walk, stand, carry and move about the property throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take and deliver beverage orders per standards, operate POS systems.
• Dispense alcohol and prepare drinks according to brand standards and recipes.
• Restock bar, clean bar area, handle glassware and dispose waste.
• Complete paperwork accurately and tally end-of-shift inventory.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with regulations.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, attend meetings, and follow grooming standards.
• Perform side duties and contribute to guest experience as a team member.
