Job summary

Valley Country Club in Aurora, CO is seeking a part-time bartender to join our hospitality team. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. You will stock, mix and serve beverages while ensuring compliance with state laws and club policies.

The role requires at least 1 year of bartending experience or training, a high school diploma or GED, and 21+ to serve alcohol. Benefits may apply, and you will work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of bartending experience and/or training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control and inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates supply needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash handling, and cleaning.
• Uses Point of Sale System for transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedules and events.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Adheres to safe work practices.
