Job summary

Valley Country Club in Aurora, CO is seeking a motivated, part-time bartender to join our fast-paced hospitality team. You will stock, mix and serve beverages, help control costs, and ensure guests have a memorable experience.

As part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management, you will follow state liquor laws, use the POS system, handle cash, and participate in opening and closing duties. Compensation is $17.50–$18.00 per hour plus eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar, mix and serve beverages; assist in cost control and inventory.
• Maintain inventory records and communicate supplies needed to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicate guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening/closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Handle checks and cash transactions.
• Utilize Point of Sale System.
• Review banquet schedule and events calendar.
• Serve catered parties and meals as needed.
• Follow safe work practices and perform other duties as required.
