Position: Bartender

The Bartender will be responsible for preparing beverages for bar and event guests while providing excellent customer service.

Shifts may vary weekly based on events. Availability to work on Mother’s Day and Easter is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for bar and event guests
2. Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks
3. Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
4. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
5. Plan and present the bar menu
6. Check customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age
7. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
8. Provide excellent guest service and ensure a positive experience
9. Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications:

• T.I.P.S. certification
• At least 2 years of experience as a bartender
• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean

The hiring range for this position is $7.60-$9.50 per hour plus tips. The final salary offer will depend on individual education, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an incentive plan, career development opportunities, free meals, and Marriott/Starwood employee discounts at participating hotels.
