Job summary

Sadelle’s Coconut Grove in Miami is seeking a Barista for a part-time front-of-house role. You will prepare coffee and a variety of beverages, serve guests, and support lunch service while maintaining a clean station.

Successful candidates are reliable, friendly, and punctual, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Prior experience in high-volume or fine dining is a plus; training is provided within Major Food Group.

Qualifications

• Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
• Proficient in POS systems, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring quality.
• Polishing and Maintenance: Keep the coffee station tidy and glassware clean.
• Running Tickets: Deliver beverages to tables during lunch service; support front-of-house.
• Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff to ensure smooth lunch operations.
• Inventory Support: Monitor coffee supplies and report issues to the manager on duty.
• Health & Safety: Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
