Sadelle’s Coconut Grove in Miami is seeking a Barista for a part-time front-of-house role. You will prepare coffee and a variety of beverages, serve guests, and support lunch service while maintaining a clean station.

Successful candidates are reliable, friendly, and punctual, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Prior experience in high-volume or fine dining is a plus; training is provided within Major Food Group.

• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
• Proficient in POS systems, Word and Excel.

Salary Range: $12.00 To $15.00 Hourly

Major Food Group is hiring part-time Baristas to join our team atSadelle's Coconut Grove!

Sadelle’s is a modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of all-day dining and is home to the most elaborate bagel and lox towers, oysters, soups, salads, sandwiches and more!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring each drink meets our quality standards.
• Polishing and Maintenance: During downtime, assist with polishing glassware and cutlery, as well as keeping the coffee station tidy.
• Running Tickets: Deliver beverages to tables during lunch service efficiently and accurately, supporting the front-of-house team. Dinner service coffees will be made, and a runner will be requested to deliver the coffee beverages.
• Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy lunch periods.
• Inventory Support: Help monitor coffee supplies and equipment, reporting any issues to the manager on duty.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
• Team-orientated and positive attitude
• Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
