Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a coffee shop team member at our Plymouth, Indiana location to prepare beverages and food while delivering courteous service. You will operate the register, handle payments, stock products and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least one year of retail experience, with strong communication and math skills to assist customers and ensure accurate transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee shop beverages according to standards.
• Prepare food items according to procedures.
• Operate cash register and process payments (cash, cards, checks, coupons, etc.).
• Stock items and rotate coffee items and displays.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.
• Explain store programs, promotions and coupons to customers.
• Follow safety, PPE, and food safety guidelines.
