Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a part-time bariatric surgeon in Waldorf, MD. The position offers clinical autonomy with 40–60 mile facility coverage, bedside wound care in post-acute settings, and no on-call or weekend duties.

Compensation aligns with the firm’s W2 structure; full-time peers earn around $300,000 annually with benefits, and paid training plus a 6-month wound fellowship are provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating ~20-30 patients per day
• Mobile practice: travel within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities
• Onboarding includes paid training and 6-month wound care fellowship
