Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a part-time bariatric surgeon to join a national wound care network. Clinicians enjoy autonomy, no nights, no calls, no weekends, and a 7am–4pm schedule or flexible part-time options; travel within a 40–60 mile radius to facilities.

You will receive paid training, W2 employment with benefits, and a minimum 3 days per week commitment. The role emphasizes bedside wound management with weekly rounds across SNFs and LTACHs in a mobile

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full time: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part time available.
• No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Deliver bedside wound care in post-acute settings (SNFs and LTACHs).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time is minimum 3 days/week; full-time 4–5 days.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities within 40–60 miles.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating ~20–30 patients daily.
• Real-time clinical documentation during rounds with proprietary EMR.
• Paid training on onboarding plus 6-month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment; no visa sponsorship available.
