Job summary

National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Part-Time Bariatric Surgeon in Des Moines, IA to provide bedside wound care across post-acute facilities with autonomy and work-life balance.

Enjoy a no nights, no call, no weekend schedule within a mobile practice that visits 40-60 miles of the location, performing rounds at 2-3 facilities per day and treating 20-30 patients daily. Paid training is provided during onboarding and fellowship.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Mobile practice visiting facilities in a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid training during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.
