Viceroy Hotels is opening a Sun Valley barback role focused on supporting bar operations with cleanliness, stock management, and guest-focused service. You will assist bartenders, ensure outlet readiness, and help deliver exceptional experiences across multiple resort outlets.

The position requires hospitality experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time benefits include comprehensive health plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in barback, restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality preferred.
• Experience in high-volume or multi-outlet food & beverage environments preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork, interacting professionally with guests and team.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, mixers, juices, soft drinks, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies.
• Request, retrieve, verify, organize, and store bar requisitions and deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar and service areas.
• Assist bartenders with operational support to ensure efficient service flow.
• Clear glassware, remove trash, restock supplies, and maintain presentation standards.
• Develop knowledge of beverage offerings, menu items, and outlet operations.
• Complete opening, closing, side work, and operational checklists per standards.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment and service areas safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and operational needs.
• Support banquet, pool, lounge, restaurant, and special events as needed.
• Maintain storage areas, coolers, and back-of-house beverage spaces.
• Use teamwork to support overall F&B operations.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and departmental lineups.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, appearance, and grooming standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
