Job summary

TPC Scottsdale, home of the WM Phoenix Open, seeks a Barback to support the dining and bar teams in a high-volume, fast-paced setting. You’ll set tables, stock the bar, prepare garnishes, and keep the dining and bar areas clean and organized throughout service.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of Barback experience, be of legal drinking age, and be physically able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the role of a Barback in a high-volume bar.
• Be the legal age to serve alcohol.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the job (lift up to 75 lbs).
• Strong knowledge of bar menu items.
• Willing to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, responsible and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Set tables with appropriate place settings.
• Remove dirty dishes and deliver to dish washing area.
• Refresh tables during service periods.
• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups and glasses.
• Prepare garnishes and restock supplies.
• Clean spills and organize the counter.
• Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security.
• Handle intoxicated guests and emergencies as needed.
• End-of-night bar cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of buffets and equipment.
