Job summary

Evening Entertainment Group (EEG) is seeking a Part-Time Barback for Hifi Scottsdale to support bartenders and maintain a clean, stocked bar. The role requires attentiveness to par levels, flexible scheduling, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

In a fast-paced hospitality setting, you will assist with opening/closing duties, uphold safety standards, and ensure guests receive a positive beverage experience. Prior barback experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a barback in a comparable setting.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based upon business demand.
• Possess superior customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain composed in delivering exceptional results in a high-paced environment.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Verify par levels for product and equipment needs at the start of each shift and flag shortages to the manager.
• Observe and anticipate guests’ needs and manage time with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and storages.
• Perform opening and closing duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Adhere to regulations and maintain required licensing/certifications.
• Follow company policies, appearance, and hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
