Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Bar Back to support the Bar team. Responsibilities include garnishing, stocking, order verification, and maintaining bar cleanliness, with flexibility for additional duties as directed by management.

Prior bar experience is preferred, along with knowledge of alcohol preparation and regulations. English communication and physical capability to lift up to 200 lbs are required to ensure smooth service for guests and bartenders.

Qualifications

• Prior bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation and liquor regulations.
• Basic mathematical skills for accurate deliveries and inventory.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle glassware, bottles, ice, and kegs.
• Ability to communicate in English with staff and guests.
• Ability to read and follow safe-handling instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare perishable garnishes, fruits, and juices according to business levels.
• Assist in maintaining adequate supplies for bar.
• Retrieve and verify orders from storeroom for accuracy.
• Store products properly in designated areas.
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards in bar areas.
• Scoop and transport ice to service areas.
• Transport and maintain portable bars and tap units.
• Assist with additional duties as requested by management.
