Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Banquet Server at Pearl at Kalauao in Aiea, HI. The successful candidate will deliver quality food and beverage service, maintain professionalism, and support a high standard of guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal applicants have 1–2 years of food service experience, a High School Diploma, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Must hold a liquor serving card and comply with all safety and service regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of food service experience.
• Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) Diploma
• A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
• Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
• Must possess proper liquor commission serving card
• Possesses excellent customer service skills
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide a memorable guest experience.
• Must be team oriented.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service.
• Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in a timely manner.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests.
• Check backs to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish items as necessary and/or requested.
• Keep tables, dining room and workstation(s) sanitized and organized.
• Listen and respond to customer complaints.
• Perform set up, clean-up/breakdown procedures as assigned by manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
