Dime Commercial Bank is hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Associate at its Westbury Branch in Long Island. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.
• Advanced PC, Network, E-Mail, Director, Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Transaction Research experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively resolve customer issues.
• Thorough understanding of compliance and record keeping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, cash advances, cashier's checks, night drop bags).
• Reconcile cash drawer by counting and packaging currency and coins.
• Perform account services for all customers.
• Respond to inquiries and provide knowledge of products/services to offer solutions.
• Support Branch Manager through in-branch sales, phone, and direct mail campaigns.
• Report under BSA, CTR, SAR requirements and internal tracking.
• Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews for data integrity (SOX 404).
• Possess knowledge of bank regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for consumer and commercial lending needs and refer to appropriate department.
• Make local decisions on overdrafts/overrides/signature guarantees when managers unavailable.
• Cross-train on teller window and banking platform.
