Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. is seeking provisional band teachers to join our Music Education Services department. This role provides music instruction as needed at the schools we serve, with substitute positions also available.

Expect 20–24 hours per week and a focus on building strong student engagement and performance opportunities for local communities. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Music Education, have some teaching experience, and possess a valid teaching license and driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education required.
• State teaching license required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Stand in as the teacher for music classes when educators are unavailable.
• Assist with student recruitment or after-school events as needed.
• Prepare or follow lesson plans and provide progress reports.
• Maintain relationships with school principals and administration.
• Coordinate with Music Educators to participate in concerts.
• Maximum 20-24 hours per week.
• Additional duties as assigned.
