Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. seeks music educators to join our Music Education Services to provide instruction at local schools. You will teach groups and individuals, coordinate concerts, and align with school schedules while ensuring instruments and supplies are ready for lessons.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Music Education, have 3–5 years of teaching experience, and possess a state teaching license plus a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits and opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Education is required.
• 3-5 years of music teacher experience (new grads may apply with training).
• State teaching license is required.
• Valid driver's license and automotive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Teach music classes in schools, in groups or one-on-one per contracts.
• Coordinate concerts, ensembles and events to engage students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, benchmarks and progress reports for each instrument.
• Maintain relationships with school staff to secure schedules and notify changes.
• Assist with instruments and supplies via coordination with retail/education teams.
• Teach summer lessons and continuing education activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
