Job summary

SpartanNash in Caledonia, Michigan is seeking a part-time Bakery Associate to assist with daily production, packaging, labeling and display of bakery products. You will stock backrooms, rotate items, and maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include following production and merchandising plans, communicating recipes and weights to teammates, and coordinating with the Bakery Manager on orders and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, produce, package, and label bakery products per plan.
• Merchandise products per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with bakery items, rotate and date cases.
• Notify Bakery Manager when products or supplies need ordering.
• Work with other departments to achieve store growth.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Communicate recipes, weights, and tasks to associates.
