Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing; greets customers and helps with product questions.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person with a pleasant attitude; assists with order sizing and flavor.Sets up special-order tables during peak hours and builds displays.
• Ensures merchandise is fresh, properly priced and labeled; handles spoiled or near-expiry items per policy.
• Assists with production of breads and pastries; follows production logs and approved recipes; maintains sanitation and PPE use.
