Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Machine Operator I to join our production team in Michigan. You will work with raw materials to complete a mix formula, mix ingredients, and package the finished product for shipping.

The role offers a Friday–Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am shift with a $30.00/hour wage and opportunities for growth within a long-established bakery company. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), experience in food manufacturing, ability to read and follow safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills and ability to work with measurements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure produced product meets specifications and safety standards.
• Operate production equipment safely and follow GMP, HACCP, and related procedures.
• Record usage with barcode scanner and complete required paperwork.
• Assist in training new team members and maintain cleanliness.
• Support sanitation and batch verification tasks as needed.
• Communicate quality or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
